Audio Training Series: Module 3 In Chapter 3, we discuss using the MILEAGE tab. It's pretty straight-forward, so this is a quick chapter. One new feature in 2009 is the ability to change the mileage rates at anytime during the year, in case the IRS changes the rates mid-year, which they're know to do occasionally (they did it in 2008). The IRS actually lowered the mileage rate from 58.5 cents per mile (from July-December 2008) down to 55 cents per mile in 2009.
